We removed over 2500 almond trees. The average life of an almond tree is about 35 years and these were well over 35. Only about 50 almond trees remain. Even so, in the spring white and pink blossoms cover the trees. **Arrow over the picture to see the pink blossoms. |

The 100 year old barn was repaired and re-roofed by Ken's brother-in-law and Doris and Ken. The barn has 4 horse stalls and 2 tack rooms. It holds the 2 tractors, equipment, and a chicken coop in the back. Behind the barn is a small orchard with apples, pears, cherries, plum, apricot, fig, and 20 pomegranate trees.. **Arrow over barn to see back or barn. |

We demolished the original bunkhouse and have built a 2 bedroom guest house in its place near the barn. Unfortunately, the lake that was built in 1960 was emptied in 1973 and never refilled. The dam and spillway still exist but the area is overgrown and would require major work that we are not prepared to undertake currently.
